Color: Mozarkite ranges from hues and shades of gray, brown, pink, purple, and green.  Concentric banding or mottling is present.

Mozarkite is associated with the Cotter Formation of Missouri.  It is primarily found in west central Missouri south of the Missouri River and west of the Lake of the Ozarks.
